The Equity and Inclusion Committee (EIC) is in charge of advocating for the student body on all issues of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Previous and current projects of the EIC include student of color support in majors, FGLI student outreach, and medical amnesty advocacy. The EIC is composed of 5 members and works closely with the Resource Center, the Office of Equity and Inclusion WesWell and the Title IX office. The Equity and Inclusion committee is also responsible for running the First Cardinals mentorship program and for acting as the WSA liaison to the First Generation Low Income Advisory Board (FGLIAB). The EIC makes certain that resolutions passed within the WSA are inclusive of all students on campus. In addition, the committee works to introduce and plan programming on campus to bridge connections and resources between students in efforts to combat existing inequalities on campus.
